Atlanta & Marietta · Lutron Lighting & Shade Integration

Set the light.Change the feeling.

Lighting and shades shape the way a room feels. We bring them together with thoughtful Lutron controls, useful scenes, and a setup that fits your everyday life.

Thoughtfully planned. Professionally integrated.
Based in Marietta. Serving Metro Atlanta.

A home that feels considered

Beautiful light.
A more natural routine.

The best control starts with the room, not the switch. We look at where you spend time, the light you need, and the moments you would like to make easier.

01

A better setting

Choose comfortable brightness for cooking, reading, entertaining, and winding down.

02

A little more privacy

Plan shades around daylight, glare, views, and the way you use each space.

03

Less to think about

Bring selected lights and compatible shades into scenes and schedules that suit your routine.

01 / Lighting control

The right light.
Right where you want it.

A dimmer, keypad, or convenient remote can change how you experience a room. We consider the controls, the lighting loads, and the finished look together.

  • 01
    Comfortable dimming

Match the control to the lamps or fixtures, then review dimming behavior and useful brightness levels.

  • 02
    Controls within reach

Plan wall controls, keypads, or supported Pico remotes around the places you naturally reach for them.

  • 03
    A finished look

Consider control style, finish, placement, and room names as part of the complete experience.

Talk through my lighting plan

Required line-voltage electrical work is handled by a licensed electrical contractor. The integration scope, compatible equipment, and responsibilities are defined before work begins.

02 / Motorized shades

Welcome the daylight.
Keep your privacy.

Let the room work with the light outside. We plan compatible motorized shades around the windows, your privacy preferences, and the way you want to control them.

  • 01
    Light and fabric

Discuss daylight, glare, privacy, fabric preferences, and the atmosphere you want in each room.

  • 02
    Fit and power

Review window measurements, mounting surfaces, and practical power options before selecting shades.

  • 03
    Lighting and shades, together

Where supported, combine selected shade positions and light settings into a familiar scene.

Choose the right foundation

The right system.
For the way you want to live.

Your rooms, controls, wiring, and future plans guide the platform. We confirm the design and delivery requirements before proposing equipment.

Focused upgrades

Caséta

A practical place to start with connected dimmers, switches, Pico remotes, and compatible shades.

Consider for targeted improvements and a plan that grows room by room.

A broader plan

RadioRA 3

A platform to consider for coordinated lighting, shade, and keypad control across a more extensive project.

We assess device needs, coverage, control styles, and programming requirements.

Custom-home scope

HomeWorks

An option to review when a project calls for more extensive custom-home lighting and control.

We evaluate the scope, investment, and specialist design and delivery resources required.

Compatibility is specific to the platform, devices, and integration method. A control or shade that works in one design is not automatically the right choice for another.

Practical answers about lighting, shades, compatibility, and the scope of your project.

Ask about your project
Do you provide Lutron lighting control integration in Atlanta and Marietta?

Yes. The SmartHome Co. plans Lutron lighting controls and compatible shade integration for homes in Marietta and Metro Atlanta. We review your existing controls, the rooms you want to improve, and your preferred scenes and schedules before defining the project. Required line-voltage electrical work is handled by a licensed electrical contractor.

How much does Lutron lighting and shade integration cost?

Pricing depends on the platform, controlled circuits, keypads, shades, wiring conditions, and programming. Shade sizes, fabrics, and power options also affect the proposal. We start with the rooms and routines you want to improve, then define the equipment, integration, and any separately coordinated electrical work.

Should I choose Lutron Caséta or RadioRA 3?

Caséta can suit a focused lighting upgrade, while RadioRA 3 offers a broader range of controls and system-design options for more extensive projects. The decision depends on device count, control styles, coverage, shades, and future expansion. We review those requirements before recommending a platform, rather than choosing from the size of the house alone.

Can I use Lutron smart dimmers without a neutral wire?

Some Lutron dimmers do not need a neutral, but that is not true of every model or load type. For example, the standard Diva smart dimmer has different requirements from other controls. We match the device to the lighting load and existing wiring; a licensed electrical contractor handles required line-voltage work.

Why do my LED lights flicker or glow when dimmed or switched off?

The lamp or fixture, driver, dimmer, and load must work together. Incompatible combinations or low-end settings can cause flickering, poor dimming, or a faint glow. We identify the exact products and check compatibility before recommending a control or fixture change. A smart dimmer by itself does not guarantee smooth dimming.

Will Caséta lights still work if the internet goes down?

Local Caséta control uses Lutron Clear Connect rather than Wi-Fi, so an internet outage does not by itself stop local light operation. Power is still required. Remote access and cloud-dependent integrations have separate connectivity requirements, which we review as part of the system design.

Can motorized Lutron shades be added to an existing home?

Often, yes. Window dimensions, mounting surfaces, shade type, and the available power options determine the approach. We assess those conditions and the intended control system before specifying shades. Planning the power and controls early helps avoid choosing a shade that does not fit the intended installation.

Can my lights and shades work together in one scene?

Compatible lights and shades can be organized around routines such as watching a movie or winding down for the evening. The available functions depend on the Lutron platform, devices, and integration method. We confirm those details and agree on what each scene should do before configuring it.

What does your Lutron integration service include?

We define the controls, supported scenes, schedules, configuration, and user walkthrough in the project scope. Any required line-voltage work is coordinated with a licensed electrical contractor. The handoff covers the installed controls and everyday routines so you can use the system confidently.
